In 1996, a woman named Christine wrote a book What If Everything You Thought You Knew About AIDS Was Wrong? But in 2008 she herself died if suffering AIDS-related condition.
Christine Maggiore was already diagnosed positive for HIV in 1992. After working with several charities AIDS charities , she became an AIDS denialism activist and believed that AIDS was harmless. She questioned whether HIV caused AIDS. She also refused to take any HIV medicines despite being pregnant. This led her 3-year-old daughter to die from an AIDS related illness, followed by her own tragic death from AIDS.
