Men diagnosed with Schizophrenia believed that they were Jesus.

In 1959, three men based in Michigan were diagnosed with Schizophrenia, believing that they were Jesus Christ. They quarreled with each other 'Who was holier?" and "Who actually had a mental disability rather?"

The three Christs remained uncured of their delusions, inspiring their psychiatrist to highlight their interactions in the 1964 book The Three Christs of Ypsilanti.
