Did you know that sharks have been on earth longer than trees?

 

Well, here’s one which can certainly be classified as being that interesting. Did you know that sharks have been on earth longer than trees? It is estimated that the first sharks lurked in the oceans around 400 million years ago in the Silurian period. Yet, trees didn’t decorate the earth until 50 million years later, in the Devonian period. Our oceans are far more ancient than our lands!
