Around ¼ (yes, a quarter) of all Koreans have had plastic surgery in their lifetime. Did you know?

It is well-established that South Korea holds high beauty standards. However, this isn’t always achieved naturally. What’s that interesting is that it is estimated that around ¼ (yes, a quarter) of all Koreans have had plastic surgery in their lifetime.

It varies by generation, of course, and it is most common in the 19-29 age category, with ⅓ of Korean women especially admitting to having had some plastic surgery. Most procedures are minor double eyelid surgeries, though.
