Everyone loves music. It’s just a fact. However, one person you may struggle to believe is a big music fan is Russian President, Vladimir Putin. Perhaps even more unbelievable is that he is a big fan of The Beatles. It has been claimed that Yesterday is his favourite Beatles song.

Something which is that interesting is that, in a meeting with Paul McCartney in 2003, he told the music legend that Russians love The Beatles and that their music was not banned during Soviet times. McCartney, however, was barred from playing the Red Square in the 1980s.
