The tallest church in Germany is yet to be completed by 2026

 

People think that the world’s tallest infrastructure is based in Dubai…the Burj Khalifa. Plus, everyone I know is flying off to Dubai. Anyways. I wanted to bring their attention to one of the tallest ones that is also based in Germany. 

Something that went under the radar: Ulm Minster in Ulm, Germany, was the tallest church on earth from 1890 to October of 2025... when it was finally surpassed by Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família. 

The church has been under construction since 1882 and might finally be completed next year. Ulm was under construction between 1377-1890! Isn’t that interesting?

Now I wonder how many McDonald’s have been built in that time? More than 40,000 since its founding in 1940!
